Beautiful, stayed for a week with the family and parents. Gorgeous decor throughout and two huge wndows overlooking Loch Fyne. Clean, warm and spacious would stay again.Liz & David Preston
We stayed here on the recommendation of friends they stated that it was an amazing house in a wonderful location. How right they where we loved our two week on the west coast. Inveraray is lovely little town. Highly recomended.Jill & Peter Leeds
Bright, spacous and conveniently located with all the necassary modern conveniences. Small walk to the restuarants and pubs. There is also lots to do in the area but a car is essential to get around Argyll.Axel Germany
We found the house fully equipped as advertised and it provided a wonderful 'home away from home' during our three week stay in Argyll. There are a number of pubs and restuarants close by in case you don't want to cook in the wonderful kitchen. We hope to return someday.Rachel Bridgetown, Barbados
We found this house to be very pleasant, spotlessly clean, warm, bright, well equipped and comfortable, in a beautiful location, but within an easy walk of Inveraray. We used St Malieu Hall as our base for exploring Inveraray and touring around Argyll & the Islands as day visitors. We were there during the Easter holidays and although there were a lot of visitors in the town we did do not notice them at St Malieu which is few minutes walk from the town centre and off the tourists beaten track. The house is very spacious and the website photos do not do it justice; it was perfect for our family of four plus two grandparents. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms could be a difficulty for people with mobility problems, or with very small children, but were no problem for us and there are two downstairs bedrooms which are easily accessed. We liked the view from the two enormous windows in the living room of the lake, with boats occasionally passing up and down and we watched Oyster Catchers most mornings feeding on the shore. There are two convenience stores a short walk away, but we were grateful for the bottles of wine and biscuits which greeted us on arrival. We also appreciated the selection of books and music which are thoughtfully provided. We felt very much at home, and would definitely like to return if we were visiting Argyll in future.Debbie, Ireland
